Insha Dance Company

The contemporary dance performance in two acts "D.I.M." to the music of Viktor Rekalo performed by the artists of the Insha Dance Company is a work created by the dancer, choreographer, super finalist of the show "Everyone's Got Talent! Season 8", ballet dancer Ilya Miroshnichenko, as well as Kateryna Kuznetsova and exclusively Ukrainian artists with the support of the Federal Foreign Office of Germany and the Goethe-Institut's Stabilization Fund for Culture. "This is a story about the road. It is about those who were forced to share a carriage on an evacuation train and, having accepted the new rules of life, remained unconquered. This is a dedication to each of us, to everyone who has experienced the pain of loss, and to what was lost. Home is a process, a journey; therefore, we are all on our way home... And while the sound of the train continuously accompanies this journey, let them share their stories," comment the creators of the contemporary ballet D.I.M. The performance was created by people who personally experienced evacuation from their homes in wartime and decided to embody their experience on stage in the way they know best - through dance... The composer and cellist Viktor Rekalo, on the verge of academicism and urbanism, created an exclusive piece of music for the string quintet in the play.
