Kryštof Krejčí
Kryštof Krejčí is a Czech theatre director, dramaturg, and writer, who is one of the prominent faces of the upcoming theatre generation. He graduated from the Jan Neruda Gymnasium and subsequently studied directing and dramatic branch at Prague's DAMU. He made his debut on the theatre stage by directing the play Do zbraně! and worked as a dramaturg on the productions Love's Labour's Lost (Marné lásky snaha) and The Respectable Wedding (Maloměšťákova svatba). He achieved significant success in 2024 at the DISK Theatre with his direction and co-adaptation of Jáchym Topol's novel Sister (Sestra). This text won 3rd place in the prestigious Evald Schorm Award for 2023. He does not perform as an actor, focusing fully on directing and dramaturgical work.
