Jiří Zapletal

Jiří Zapletal is a Czech actor who has been one of the key pillars of the Klicpera Theatre in Hradec Králové for more than three decades, having joined the ensemble in the 1991/92 season. On stage, he moves effortlessly between comedy, drama, and character roles, always bringing a touch of ease, perspective, and gentle irony. Audiences can see this in performances such as Chocolate Eaters, The Little Mermaid, Broccoli on Mars, Richard III., and The Ball.
