Vladimír Hauser

Vladimír Hauser is a key figure of the Divadlo Husa na provázku ensemble, where he has been performing continuously since 1973. Coming from a family deeply rooted in amateur theatre, he joined the creative group in the Procházka Hall of the House of Arts after graduating from the conservatory — a collective that later evolved into today’s legendary “Provázek”. Throughout his rich career, he has appeared in more than 150 productions and is considered one of the most beloved members of the company. He became widely known thanks to the film Balada pro banditu, in which he left an unforgettable impression. Beyond theatre, he also works for radio and records audiobooks, where his calm, warm and unmistakably gentle voice stands out. Colleagues often describe him as the “living chronicle of Provázek”, while audiences appreciate his natural style, subtle humour and ability to create powerful characters with remarkable sensitivity.
