David Beneš

David Beneš is a Czech stage actor and puppeteer whose professional career is primarily linked to the West Bohemian Theatre in Cheb. He graduated in alternative and puppet theatre acting from DAMU in Prague. He has been a member of the Cheb ensemble since completing his studies, portraying dozens of roles across a wide stylistic range. His prominent roles include Romeo in Shakespeare's tragedy Romeo and Juliet, the character of Passepartout in the production Around the World in Eighty Days (Cesta kolem světa), and performing in the comedy The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged).
