Hana Knotková

Hana Knotková is a Czech costume and set designer who, despite her young age, has built a rich and highly respected theatrical career. She left a significant mark primarily at the Municipal Theatre Zlín, where, alongside her own creative work, she served as the head of stage design from 2009 to 2011. During this period, she designed sets and costumes for numerous successful productions, including Cabaret, Rok na vsi, Armagedon na Grbu, Sekal Has to Die, Blanche and Marie, Baťa Tomáš, živý, and Good Manners. On these projects, she collaborated closely with prominent directors such as Dodo Gombár, J. A. Pitínský, and Anna Petrželková. After leaving her permanent engagement in Zlín, she worked as a freelance designer before joining the National Moravian-Silesian Theatre in 2023 as the Deputy Head of Costume Design.
