Hana Fischerová
Hana Fischerová is a renowned Czech theatre scenographer and costume designer. She successfully completed her professional education at the Theatre Faculty of AMU in Prague. Shortly after graduation, she began collaborating with prominent theatre directors such as Michal Dočekal and Jan Borna. Her promising artistic career was subsequently interrupted for a time by her move abroad. During her stay in India, the United States, and France, she did not work in theatre professionally. However, after returning to the Czech Republic, she smoothly and successfully resumed her previous work, for example by collaborating with scenographer David Marek on the Czech exhibition for the Prague Quadrennial in 2003 or creating costumes for the National Theatre. Currently, her work is firmly tied primarily to Divadlo v Dlouhé in Prague. There, she acts as a regular and core collaborator of the acclaimed director Hana Burešová, and her well-thought-out visual style and attention to detail give many successful productions there an unmistakable artistic identity.
