Anikó Vargová
Anikó Vargová is a Slovak theatre, film, and television actress of Hungarian origin and one of the most distinctive faces of the contemporary Slovak scene. She graduated in acting from the Academy of Performing Arts (VŠMU) in Bratislava and has performed at Astorka Korzo ’90 Theatre, the Slovak National Theatre, and the Bárka Theatre in Budapest. Since 2015, she has been a member of the Nová scéna Bratislava ensemble.
Audiences know her from TV series such as Tajné životy, 1890, Sestričky, and Sľub, and from films including Eva Nová, The Interpreter, and Let There Be Light. Her acting style is natural, precise, and emotionally deep. Anikó Vargová moves effortlessly between vulnerability and strength, creating characters that feel authentic and remain memorable.
