Kateřina Pokorná

Kateřina Pokorná is a Czech theatre actress closely associated with the West Bohemian Theatre in Cheb. She was born in 1967 in Zlín and studied acting at the Music and Drama Department of the Prague Conservatory. From 1986 to 2008 she was a member of the Cheb ensemble, where she created numerous roles from both classical and contemporary repertoire and became one of the recognizable faces of the company. On stage, Kateřina Pokorná was appreciated for her natural acting style, attention to detail and ability to capture the character of a role in both dramatic and comic parts. After returning to the West Bohemian Theatre in 2021, she works as a prompter, drawing on her many years of theatrical experience and deep understanding of stage work.
