Pavel Tesař

Pavel Tesař is a Czech theatre, television, and film actor. He received his acting education at the Department of Alternative and Puppet Theatre at DAMU in Prague. Right from its inception in 1996, he has been a permanent member of the acting ensemble at Divadlo v Dlouhé in Prague. On this stage, he fully utilizes his versatile talent and excellent comedic timing, which is evidenced by significant awards. For his role as Pavel in the successful production Jak jsem se ztratil (How I Got Lost), he won the main prize at the Mateřinka festival and the City of Pilsen Award. For his portrayal of Follbraguet in the comedy Dáváme děťátku klystýr! (Let's Give the Baby an Enema!), he took home the Best Actor Award from the GRAND Festival of Laughter. He also regularly performs in the theatre's popular musical cabarets. In addition to theatre, audiences can frequently see him on television screens, where he is cast in a diverse range of character roles. He has appeared, for example, in hit series such as Ordinace v růžové zahradě, Rapl, Zoo, or Děcko. Alongside acting, he is also intensely involved in voice acting and dubbing.
