
Libor Olma
Libor Olma is a Czech stage actor and an operetta and musical soloist. Since 1996, he has been a permanent member of the operetta and musical ensemble of the National Moravian-Silesian Theatre in Ostrava.
He studied cello and vocal performance at the Janáček Conservatory in Ostrava. He began his career in the operetta ensemble of the Těšín Theatre in Český Těšín, before later moving to his engagement in Ostrava. His repertoire includes dozens of roles in classical operettas (Die Fledermaus, The Merry Widow, The Csárdás Princess) as well as modern musicals (Sugar, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, The Full Monty). A notable success was the title role in the musical Harpagon is a Miser?, which the authors created specifically for him. He also guest-stars on other stages, such as the Divadlo Mír in Ostrava or the Silesian Theatre in Opava.
