Martin Veselý

Martin Veselý is a professional theatre choirmaster specializing in the musical and vocal preparation of opera, operetta, and musical choirs. His professional career is closely linked to the opera company of the South Bohemian Theatre in České Budějovice, where he serves as the chief choirmaster. Under his leadership, the local choir participates in key theatre productions, ranging from the classical stage repertoire to highly demanding summer open-air performances at the Revolving Theatre in Český Krumlov. Throughout his career, he has collaborated with a number of leading Czech conductors, such as David Švec, and renowned directors, including Tomáš Ondřej Pilař.
