Martin Hrubý

Martin Hrubý is a Czech actor who has been a member of the Municipal Theatre in Mladá Boleslav since 2003, where he is considered one of the pillars of the drama ensemble. Born in Moravská Třebová, he studied history at the Faculty of Arts at Charles University, but theatre soon won him over during his studies. He began in the student company PIBIMPAP-RIZOTO and gained his first professional experience at the Příbram Theatre under the direction of Marie Lorencová. He later performed at the Vítězslav Nezval Theatre in Karlovy Vary and the East Bohemian Theatre in Pardubice. On stage, Martin Hrubý has won audiences over with his versatility – switching between dramatic and comedic roles, with both critics and viewers praising his natural style and subtle sense of humour.
