Veronika Lazorčáková
Veronika Lazorčáková is a Czech theatre, television, and film actress. A native of Olomouc, she studied drama acting at JAMU in Brno. She secured her first permanent engagement while still studying, at the National Moravian-Silesian Theatre in Ostrava, where she worked from 2010 to 2014. She then moved to Prague and became a member of the artistic ensemble of Divadlo v Dlouhé. In 2016, she was awarded the prestigious Thalia Award for young actors under 33 for her outstanding stage performances. A year later, she joined the country's leading stage and became a permanent member of the National Theatre Drama ensemble in Prague, where she also received the ND Director's Award for her work. In addition to the theatre stage, she regularly appears on camera. Television viewers know her from acclaimed historical series such as Božena or Já, Mattoni. On the silver screen, she caught attention in the comedy-drama Na střeše and the unconventional film Očitý svědek.
