Jan Přeučil

Jan Přeučil is the embodiment of acting nobility, a master of rhetoric, and an unmistakable performer of both character and villainous roles. With his signature elegance and legendary hat, he has brought an unrepeatable charm to Czech theatre and cinema. He linked his career with the National Theatre, but most notably with the Divadlo Na zábradlí, where he excelled in Theatre of the Absurd under Jan Grossman, including the legendary production of Ubu Roi. Later, he also shone at the Karlín Musical Theatre. Beyond acting, he is a sought-after voice actor and a respected professor of rhetoric, teaching that spoken language is an art form.
