Katarína Hollá
Katarína Hollá is an acclaimed Slovak costume designer who has spent decades working across theatre, film, and television. She graduated in Scenography from DAMU in Prague and is considered one of the leading figures in her field. Her costume designs have appeared in legendary Dejvické divadlo productions (Resurrection, The Winter’s Tale, Fifty, and We Lost Stalin), as well as in successful films such as Tátova volha (Dad’s Volga), Angel of the Lord, Barefoot, and Burning Bush, for which she won the Czech Lion Award.
Her work is precise, thoughtful, and full of detail – she masterfully combines historical authenticity with a modern sense of style and character. She collaborates with top Czech and Slovak directors and actors, and her creations are admired by both audiences and critics alike.
