Vilém Čapek

Vilém Čapek is a Czech stage and puppet actor, voice actor, and the current artistic director of the Radost Theatre in Brno. He graduated in Acting from the Prague Conservatory. After graduating, he spent five years as a guest actor at the National Theatre in Prague. Since 1997, he has been a permanent member of the ensemble at the Radost Theatre in Brno. Throughout his career, he has portrayed dozens of roles in productions for both children and adults. His significant theatrical roles include the title character in Little Brothers of St. Francis, Bagheera the panther in The Jungle Book, and characters in productions such as Pinocchio, The Wizard of Oz, and Pippi Longstocking. In addition to his theater work, he is active in dubbing and radio production. He has lent his voice to characters in series such as Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Step by Step, and others. On screen, he has appeared in episodic roles in series like Gendarme Humoresques, The Sign of the Horse, and The First Republic.
