Tibor Kotlár
Tibor Kotlár is a Slovak actor of the emerging generation who is quickly gaining attention for his thoughtful, passionate, and authentic acting style. He graduated in drama acting from JAMU in Brno and has been a member of the ensemble of the Municipal Theatre Zlín since the 2024/2025 season, where he ranks among the most distinctive new faces.
On the Zlín stage, he has impressed audiences with several notable roles – the title role in Podivné odpoledne dr. Zvonka Burkeho, Martin Kabát in the fairy tale Hrátky s čertem, and the priest in Starý bílý muž. His acting is characterized by strong inner focus, physical energy, and a willingness to fully commit to each role, whether in comedy, drama, or psychologically demanding parts.
Tibor Kotlár is an actor who approaches his roles with depth and reflection, yet appears natural and alive on stage. Critics describe him as “a talent with a strong stage presence and an honest dedication to the craft of acting.”
