Matěj Štrunc

Matěj Štrunc is a Czech actor, musician, and stage music composer. Born in Brno into a musical family with ties to traditional folklore, he is an excellent multi-instrumentalist, playing the guitar, piano, saxophone, and double bass. He studied acting at the Brno Conservatory. On stage, he has made his mark both as an actor and a musician from the very beginning of his career. He performed at the Radost Theatre in Brno and the West Bohemian Theatre in Cheb, but left his most significant mark at the Municipal Theatre in Zlín. There, he not only portrayed numerous acting roles but also composed original stage music. In addition to his theatrical work, he is the frontman and guitarist of his own band, Ateliér. Television and film audiences may remember him from the crime series Kriminálka Anděl or the film Vejška.
