Gustav Řezníček

Gustav Řezníček is a Czech theatre and television actor. He spent his childhood in Otrokovice, where he gained his very first acting experience in the local amateur theatre group Racek, which he followed by studying acting at the Janáček Academy of Music and Performing Arts in Brno. During his university studies, he began making guest appearances at Brno's HaDivadlo, where he secured his first permanent engagement immediately after graduation. A major turning point in his career came in 1995 when he joined the drama ensemble of the Municipal Theatre Zlín. He continues to perform on this stage today, having portrayed dozens of diverse roles over the years, ranging from minor parts to leading ones. Television audiences may recognize him from occasional appearances in Czech series, and his voice can also be heard from time to time in dubbing.
