Ondřej Brett

Ondřej Brett is a Czech actor and a graduate of JAMU who, following his engagement at the Šumperk Theatre, has been one of the pillars of the Petr Bezruč Theatre in Ostrava since 2011. He has created prominent roles here (Tom in My Romantic History, Valene in The Lonesome West, and Ivan in The Brothers Karamazov). He also collaborates with the Mír Theatre (The God of Carnage) and the National Moravian-Silesian Theatre (There's Something About Her, The Death Head, Cash on Delivery, and The Ascension of Lojzík Lapáček). Television audiences know him from Shadows in the Mist or the children's show Are We There Yet?. Critics praise his versatility and his ability to transition seamlessly from comedy to character-driven roles, alongside his movement confidence and the energy with which he consistently wins over the Ostrava audience.
