
Павел Сімчик
Pavel Šimčík is a Czech actor known for his original humor, boundless energy, and ability to turn even the simplest situation into an unforgettable moment. While studying at the Department of Alternative and Puppet Theatre at DAMU, he began guest performing at Dejvické divadlo, where he debuted in 1997 in The Soothing Method directed by Miroslav Krobot. After graduating in 2000, he became a full-time member of the ensemble and soon caught attention with his memorable role as the jester Feste in Twelfth Night.
Since then, he has become one of the most distinctive members of Dejvické divadlo, appearing in productions such as Ucpanej systém, Kakadu, The Winter’s Tale, and Resurrection. Critics describe him as “an actor with impeccable timing and natural comedic instinct.”
Beyond theatre, he is also active in film, dubbing, and music.
