Kamila Janovičová is a Czech theater, television, and film actress. Born in 1992 in Ostrava, she studied at the local Janáček Conservatory and graduated in acting from DAMU in Prague. She gained her first stage experience at the Aréna Chamber Stage and the Silesian Theatre Opava. From 2017 to 2022, she was a permanent member of the South Bohemian Theatre in České Budějovice. Since autumn 2021, she has been a key member of the drama ensemble at the National Moravian-Silesian Theatre in Ostrava. Her great stage talent was confirmed in 2024 by winning the prestigious Thalia Award for a young actor. TV audiences mostly associate her with the lead role of potter Anička in the popular fairy tale Tajemství staré bambitky and its sequel. However, she has fully proven her ability to portray demanding and serious characters in dramatic projects, most notably the film Spolu, starring alongside Štěpán Kozub, or the social drama Jedna noc.
